Every day look (for schools and work)

“The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7).

This is my first full face tutorial :3
If you're looking for a simple, super wearable and neutral look for work or school then this might be the tutorial that you're looking for! There's also some tips and tricks in this post.

Every day look

If you don't trust your shadows staying power then you must have a shadow saver for that. An eye primer or an eyeshadow base can be your best friend. It'll help the shadow to stick on to something so it'll last for a whole day or the whole time you wanted it there. It's also easier to you to apply eyeshadow this way because of having a smooth and clear canvas.

Prime the eyes with your favorite eye primer. To hide visible veins and neutralize the eye, use a  peach/skin toned eye shadow on the whole eye area.

(bottom photo)
Sweep a light brown/taupe shadow on the lid and crease. You can deepen your crease by applying  darker shade, it's still your choice :)

(top photo)
Highlight the center of your lids with  white shimmering/matte shadow. (i also deepen my crease area here)

(bottom photo)
Line the upper lash line. You can do it thick or thin, cat eye, winged, or dropped. My choice of line is thin from the inner corner getting a little wider at the end and dropping it down. If you want it really simple then just can just follow the natural shape of your eyes. Mine's naturally dropped.

Before applying anything to the face it is always best to Prime it with your favorite primer. I believe that wearing a primer underneath your make up will help you decrease the possibility of the product to get inside your pores and sinks in your skin. It's always nice to have a barrier between your face and makeup. Preventing skin problems like blemishes, acne, pimple, etc.

BB cream or liquid/ cake foundation depending on your choice is the next step after priming the face. Seal everything with a powder.

Contour the side of the face and hollow of your cheeks if you want to make your face appear smaller. If you want to minimize the length of your face then contour on the jaw areas and chin. To reduce the size of the forehead, apply contouring bronzer on the sides and center of your forehead. Contour the side of your nose as well.

Sweep in the blush and highlight of your choice to add color on le face.

This is optional. If your face make up especially your base which is the foundation makes your skin looks plain and flat, I recommend using an illuminating powder. It's also a setting powder but gives more dimension that will emphasize the features of your face. Just sweep it in the top of your setting powder. Be careful because some illuminating powder got high amount of smimmer and glitters to it. Remeber, you only want to add a luminous glow on your skin.

Curl lashes and coat with mascara. You can also wear a full length or demi lashes. Fill in eyebrows.

(Bottom right)
Finish everything with a pinkish nude lip color. Sorry for my rebellious hair >.<

  • I don't wear make up at school or on a daily basis, but I know most of the teenagers do. SO I decided to do this full face tutorial :)
  • I recommend on sticking to matte products on this look to achieve the simplest look. Trust the highlighter and illuminating powder for the glow part okay :)
  • Use demi lashes for more natural look but I still prefer wearing nothing but mascara for students out there when going to school!

GOOD LUCK AND GOD SPEED!
