Alice Inspired Eye Makeup Tutorial
(Alice Madness Returns/Alice in Wonderland)
Alice in Wonderland (Soft and Innocent)
*This look can be used in variety of occasions and style. You'll achieve a soft and natural look once you've done this. Wearable and easy, as well.
(top)
Use a sheer amount of warm toned brown to deepen the crease. Slightly raise the shadow above the normal crease line of your a monolid or you got a tapered eyelid.
(bottom)
With a darker shade of brown, draw a hook-like line on the same area. Avoid blending.
(top)
Use the remaining shadow on your brush and apply it on the outer lower lashline. Line the waterline with a white eyeliner.
(bottom)
For a softer line. Use black eye shadow on tightlining the upper lash bed. We want to avoid harsh sharp lines.
(top & bottom)
Curl lashes and apply mascara.
*Just like every cartoon character, Alice had a very thin and rounded brows. Which only look good on cartoon characters and look awfully animated in real life, so we definitely don't want those. So I suggest keeping the natural shape of your brows with these look.
Alice Madness Returns (Gothic and Dark)
*If you're seeking for a Gothic and Dark look. The eye make up from Alice in the gameplay's maybe the right one for you! Wearable depending on the outfit and event. Perfection isn't neede in this look. Beginner friendly if they want to try using dark hues.
(top)
Prime the eyes with a tangerine or rustic red base. Apply all over the eye area.
(bottom)
Apply black eye shadow all over the lids. Use a burgandy or wine shadow on the remaining untached part to seal the base.
*There is no need to create perfect strokes in this look. The more smudgy and smokey the look is, the better!
(top)
Apply black eye shadow on the whole lower lash line. Smoke it out with the same burgandy eyeshadow.
(bottom)
Line the eyes with a black liquid eyeliner as close to the lashline as possible.
Tightline and line the upper and lower waterline with a black pencil. Curl lashes and coat them with mascara. Wearing falsies are optional. Fill in your eyebrows.
Edgy and Fun Alice
* This look is inspired and would really go well with the infamous blue dress from Alice.
(top)
Apply silver shadow all over the lids.
(bottom)
Create a gradient effect by applying light blue shadow on the outer lid.
(top)
Deepen the crease with a darker blue shadow.
(bottom)
Use the same shade on lining the outer lower lash line.
(top)
Highlight the inner corners with a sky blue shadow. Line the water line with a black liquid liner. You can wing and drop the line depending on what you prefer.
(bottom)
Since I made mine dropped, I connect the line I created on my outer lower lash line with a smudgy black liner.
Curl and Apply mascara. Fill in your eyebrows.
=============================
Did you already say Hi to my fine lines?
------------------------------------
*I do not intend to create the same look as the characters. As what the title said, "Alice INSIPRED eye make up" meaning, these looks I created are inspired from the chosen character.
*This is not a pro tutorial.
*This tutorial is one of my time-consuming hobby.
*Think of my wrong grammar as a typo, will you?
