Inspired with the book I recently read. Fairies of the light and dark side. Creatures that will deliver us gifts and curses. I'll be playing more on falsies in this tutorial :) Both can be wearable without the dramatic false eyelashes.

Fairies(Gift and Curse) Eye makeup tutorial

*Gift*

(top)

Prime the eyes.

Highlight the eyes by applying a light concealer on the center of the lid, inner corners, center lower lash line and brow bone (represented by white lines).

(bottom)

Blend in on a patting motion using the ring finger for a lighter touch.

Set with a shimmering white pigment.

(top)

Apply a peachy pink shadow on the whole lid and crease area avoiding the highlighted part.

(bottom)

Line the water line with a white eyeliner to open and brighten the eyes.

(top)

Create an aegyo sal effect by using a light matte brown shadow.

(bottom)

Apply a purple pigment underneath the lower lash line.

(top)

With a pencil or gel liner, create a double wing line on the outer corners of the lower lash line.

(bottom)

For more drama, create the same double wing liner on the upper lash line.

*You can curl your lashes and coat with mascara if your fine with this look. But for more fuuuuun! try the next step on this tutorial :)

You can choose any kind of natural falsies for the upper lash line in this look. But because i'm going on a supernatural look in this "gift fairy" tutorial. Ill be using a gem-end demi-falsies on the upper and lower lash line. 

*Curse*

*Prime the eyes. (Same with the concealing steps on the gift fairy eyes)

Use a Golden pigment on setting the concealer.

(top & bottom)

With a creamy black (matte/shimmery/glittery) eye shadow, create a hook-like line. Starting on the outer corner of the lids and stop before reaching the inner corners(It's like tracing your crease). Avoid the center and inner corners of the lid.

Top of the creamy black eye shadow base with a shimmering emerald green shadow. Apply the same green shadow on the the half of the outer lower lash line. With the same gold eye shadow you use on highlighting the eyes, apply it on the remaining untouched part of the lower lash line(Starting on the inner corners.)

(bottom)

Line the upper lash line with a black liquid liner. Do not wing or drop the line.

*You can curl your lashes and coat with mascara if your fine with this look. But for more fuuuuun! try the next step on this tutorial :)

*here comes the fun part!

Line the lower lash line and water line with a black gel  liner/pencil. Apply a thick and dramatic pair of demi-false eye lashes on the upper lash line.

(bottom)

Use a more natural looking demi-falsies on the outer lower lash line.

I've been so inspired to create this tutorial! The book was actually about angels of the dark and light side. But fairies more fun to create look with :)
Both looks can be good in any fairy costumes.
